Hawks: No action will be taken against ANCYL leader over Eskom contract

The Hawks have confirmed that they have declined prosecuting former ANCYL president Collen Maine on corruption charges.

This comes in response to charges laid by the Democratic Alliance in September 2017. In September 2017 Natasha Mazzone, DA spokesperson on public enterprises, had laid charges against Maine, after R500 000 was paid to the ANCYL in relation to a coal contract with Eskom.
