One of the key points of the DA’s manifesto, that is likely to split voters, is the party’s opposition to land expropriation. The Daily Maverick reported that redistribution of land as a way of righting the wrongs of the past will not be on the DA’s to-do list.

The party will also be adding a “sunset clause” to their “race-based redress,” perhaps to satisfy those voters who have grumbled at the ‘unfairness’ of an initiative like BEE.
