The Democratic Alliance has called for the deployment of more police, and urgent sharing of intelligence information to quell the xenophobic violence that has rocked Gauteng in the last two weeks.
DA Leader Mmusi Maimane together with the Johannesburg Public Safety MMC Micheal Sun, handed over a memorandum of interventions at the Johannesburg Central Police Station on Tuesday. Maimane says better co-operation between the three levels of government is required.
